Utah has just earned the distinction of having the most expensive hotel in the world.

The Amangiri hotel in Canyon Point, Southern Utah took the top spot, shame about the bad website. An average overnight price tag of $1889 for the least expensive double room easily landed it in the survey’s number one spot.

Coming in just behind in the number two spot was The Hotel Cala di Volpe in Sardinia, Italy. This establishment’s average nightly rate of $1789 positioned it in second place.
